Calories Calculator

Calories Calculator

Estimate your daily calorie needs based on age, gender, height, weight and activity level.

Calories Calculator

The Atlasaro Calories Calculator helps you estimate how many calories your body needs each day based on your age, gender, height, weight, and activity level.

The calculator uses the internationally recognized Mifflin-St Jeor Equation, one of the most accurate methods for estimating Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR).

After calculating your BMR, the calculator adjusts the result according to your activity level to estimate your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE).

Activity Levels Explained

Little or no exercise.

Light Exercise

Exercise 1–3 days per week.

Moderate Exercise

Exercise 3–5 days per week.

Heavy Exercise

Exercise 6–7 days per week.

Athlete

Very intense daily training or physical work.

Mifflin-St Jeor Equation

For men:

BMR = 10 × weight + 6.25 × height − 5 × age + 5

For women:

BMR = 10 × weight + 6.25 × height − 5 × age − 161

The calculator then multiplies your BMR by your activity level to determine your Total Daily Energy Expenditure (TDEE).

Calorie Recommendations

Weight Loss

A daily calorie deficit of approximately 500 calories may help most people lose around 0.5 kg (1 lb) per week.

Weight Maintenance

Eating close to your maintenance calories helps keep your weight stable.

Muscle Gain

A moderate calorie surplus can support muscle growth when combined with resistance training.
